Winter Timber has always been very kind to me and my husband! It’s always a joy to shop here and it is a very beginner friendly store. Every employee is happy to answer questions and offer advice. The environment is clean and positive. This is my husbands favorite store and I can see why!

I’m so thankful to have a store like Winter Timber in my local area. The staff is always polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. The store is clean, well organized, and has a fantastic layout that makes browsing enjoyable. Their prices are surprisingly competitive—often just as good as Amazon—but shopping here lets you support a local business instead. Their selection is outstanding, and I find myself stopping in several times a week just to browse. Being able to see and handle products in person is far better than scrolling through pictures online. Other than off-road vehicles, I honestly can’t think of much an outdoorsman would need that they don’t already carry. Their return policy is excellent, and every experience I’ve had has been positive. I plan to be a lifelong customer and sincerely hope Winter Timber continues to grow and thrive in our community. If I could give them six stars, I would.

Always enjoy stopping by Winter Timber in Auburn. We’re fortunate to have several good firearm shops in the area, but when it comes to selection—not just the guns themselves, but all the parts and accessories needed to build, repair, and upgrade them—no other shop comes close to what Winter Timber stocks. That matters a lot when you shoot as much as I do. I stopped in earlier today looking for a couple of flush-mount QD inserts for a 10/22 I built and dropped into a Magpul stock. Not only did they have exactly what I needed, they had multiple sets in stock. The same thing happened when I needed replacement screws for a couple of Trijicon RMR HD/SRO mounts—Randall pulled out two sets right away. Almost no one around here keeps that kind of specific gear on hand. Beyond the outstanding selection and quality products, the best part is the people. Randall has helped me every time I’ve walked in, offering great advice on firearms, hunting, and shooting. He’s recommended several products over the years, and I’ve been happy with every one. If you haven’t stopped by yet, I highly recommend Winter Timber. They’ve always treated me right.

Great experience shopping and getting what I need for hunting season and personal home protection. My buddy Russ knows what he’s talking about and will get you what you need Emily is the nicest getting me checked out and signed up in the rewards program. Best service and they’ll get you in and out and headed home happy.

I had such a wonderful experience at the grand opening of Winter Timber Outdoors Auburn! From the moment I walked in, the team was so friendly and welcoming. The store is beautifully organized and has everything you could want for the outdoors — firearms, hunting gear, knives, apparel, boots, coolers, and even services like knife sharpening and laser engraving. As a local REALTOR®, I love seeing new businesses like this open in Auburn because they add so much value to our community and the lifestyle that draws people here. Auburn has been needing a store like this, and it’s such a perfect fit. Whether you’re a hunter, outdoors enthusiast, or just someone who enjoys quality gear, this store is a must-visit. I’m already telling friends about it — and I’ll definitely be back!
